How is the treatment done?
Botox® cosmetic treatments requires no anaesthesia. The physician will inject a tiny amount of Botox into the selected facial muscles using a needle that is hair fine. Hence there is minimal discomfort and the entire procedure usually just takes around 10 minutes. Normal activities can be resumed immediately. The results of the treatment is usually visible within 2-3 days but full effect may take up to a week.
How long do the results last?
This is variable depending on individual but on average, they last for 4 to 6 months. To maintain the effect you desire, you may need 2 to 3 treatments a year. With repeated treatments, the results can last longer and may require lesser amounts of Botox.
