What can I expect after the peel?
After the peel, your skin may feel tight and dry. This is minimized by applying PCA skin products as recommended by your physician. Superficial peeling is expected between the 3rd and 7th day post peel.
Will my skin become thinner after a peel?
If your skin is thin and dry, there is usually a build up of dead cells which becomes a barrier, reducing the penetration of skin care products. After a peel, these dead cells are removed and your skin can then readily absorbed the vitamins and nutrients from your skin care products. Thereafter, your skin becomes more hydrated and appears 'plumper'. |
